If you have $10.5M, it could be yours. You could then tear it down and put up a pretty tall residential building.

  • No great loss, IMO. I have lost count of the bizarre and rude pharmacy interactions I've had with them, to the point where I abandoned this local business for the Duane Reade down the street.

  • It is sad that they just can't get their sh*t together at Kings. I have been a Kings customer for more than 20 years, see the same people all the time, and still get looked at blankly. They also manage to screw up, in one way or another, about half of the prescriptions that I submit.....don't know why they can't train their people to provide decent customer service. It's a real shame, since I always want to support a local independent over yet another chain.

    The new owner purchased the property as a retail play, with hopes of bringing in a major retailer in the vein of a CVS or Duane Reade – if not a fashion boutique or other high-paying tenant — when the building becomes vacant in 2016, brokers handling the sale said.
  • I'm sorry about the loss of a local business, but it would be great to get a pharmacy there to which I could actually bring a prescription. The one time I had something filled there, the refills were screwed up more than they weren't. And, the attitude I got when I pointed this out....
