DOT Work Prospect bet Franklin and Classon
Did anyone else notice the DOT setting up between Franklin Ave and the shuttle tracks on Prospect Place this morning? They had the street closed off and a few trucks inside the barricade.
Any update on what they are working on? Also, is that what the loud bullhorn announcement around 7 (or earlier) was about this morning? It looked like the cars had been cleared from the block also.. maybe giving a heads up?

If it's anything like the nearly identical activity on Sterling, it has to do with National Grid's redoing of the gas supply lines in the area.

There were signs up on Prospect between Grand and Classon that there would be street work on that block starting tomorrow (Tuesday).

Hmm, apparently they are heading west..
