Helicopters, SWAT team on Bergen and Nostrand?

There were a ton of helicopters in the air last night during my walk from nostrand to vanderbilt. their presence died down pretty much by grand, but they were LOUD, and seriously circling the neighborhood very low to the ground.

a friend who lives on bergen between bedford and nostrand, closer to nostrand, said there was a man with a gun hiding out in a building on her corner and there were cops in SWAT gear everywhere. anyone hear of anything else?
