Jimmy McMillan is running for NYC Mayor…. Why not Brooklyn Borough President?
The idea of this man running for mayor of New York City is a complete joke.
But if he were running for Brooklyn Borough President, I can honestly say I’d probably vote for him. It’s not a job of political significance, it’s just about appearing everywhere in Brooklyn and being a fun person… Marty Markowitz has been a lot of fun as Borough President, but this guy would be superior.

Eric Adams has the Democratic nomination for BP assured.
But, yes, a populist would be amusing.

Marty Markowitz is a buffoon. Jimmy McMillan, for all of his prose and poetry, is just as good as any of the other mayoral candidates. One, who likes tweeting a picture of his morning woody, and the other, a Bloomberg shill who is just as crooked as he is.

Eric Adams has the Democratic nomination for BP assured.Eric Adams is member of the Democrat Party, while Jimmy McMillan represents the Rent is Too Dam High Party.
Eric Adams may have the Democrat Primaries assured. But McMillan could give Adams competition for the actual Elections.

While McMillian is a populist, do you believe those who support him would actually vote?

Scott Stringer fans seem equally disorganized.
...which is too bad, he seems pretty thoughtful. I would have voted for him had he not dropped out.

Returning to Mr. McMillan,
The NYT has recently run an article on why the rent is so high.
A lot of these things seem to be more powerful than him, even if he were to become Mayor or BP.

McMillan is quite a character to say the least.

I voted for Mcmillan in 2009 to amuse myself because Bloomberg had it in the bag and it was off-putting to me that he extended the term limits just for himself. I also was tempted to vote for the madam Kristin Davis because she sent some amazing fliers to my apt bc i was registered as an independent.
