Trini passed away last week - Lincoln and Classon
The guy who used to spend every day sitting in front of the deli on the corner of Classon and Lincoln passed away last week. He went by Trini and was presumably from Trinidad, with a strong Caribbean accent. His struggles with the bottle left him with an unfulfilled life, yet he was a fixture in the neighborhood for years. I like to think that his constant presence on the corner added a bit of security to the immediate neighborhood. RIP Trini.

Rest in peace, Trini...And thank you for keeping a watchful eye out for those around you, whether human, canine or feline....It was sweet and always appreciated.
Howdy, Stranger!
