Parkside Q

I don't live at the Parkside Q stop but I live a few blocks back.
What's your question? -
This is almost a pretty silly thread to revive but I'm one for conserving topics... I've been strongly considering moving to a place on Hawthorne off Rogers and have been canvassing this weekend. It seemed like Flatbush has a lot people around all the time (with a shady character here and there), they've got a Sushi Tatsu outpost (that would deliver to me, I called and asked) and the 2/5 stop doesn't seem too bad, but what do people over there think about the walk to Parkside Q? I've heard Parkside Avenue can be hit or miss safety wise.

We use that station all the time. It could use a serious spruce up but I've never found it unsafe. There's a ton of foot traffic around there. I would definitely stick closer to Flatbush then take the 2/5 lines on nostrand. Those trains are a lot slower and there's not as much foot traffic in the area late at night.
I've lived on Hawthorne bet. flatbush and bedford for about 2 years now.
