On the many, many times I've gone to Southern California between 2000 and now, I saw countless representatives of the "young" 30s singles scene wearing high-waisted pants and thought "WTF...don't these people have access to Bloomingdale's.com or something?" And where their hair style ideas came from I'll never know...characters of day time dramas?
Some cities' populations cling to fashion trends throughout the trends' birth, death, and rebirth.
Brooklyn doesn't look so bad by comparison. -

I think its possible, but only if you're a woman that abuses anabolic steroids, which makes the visual that much worse... :shock: -

Just to piss you guys off, I bought high-waisted, skinny jeans. And not just regular high waisted--they actually have a zipper and then a four-button button fly ABOVE that. And they're from Forever 21.
Ask me if I'm joking.
But hey, I never have to worry about flashing my ass-crack. Very important when you ride a bike to and from work. -

Unfortunately, they land right above my belly-button. I say unfortunate because they rub my piercing something wicked. I think I had completely forgotten it was there until I got those pants. Oh well. -
