Looking for pet friendly garden studio- 1 bdrm

Hoping that someone has an inside track... I have been working in Boerum Hill as a veterinarian for close to 2 months... and have been trying to find a place, within walking distance, that is affordable, decent and pet friendly. To make it more impossible, my dog is approx 70 lbs... and I want something for him... a garden ... some sort of outdoor space... and/or a dog park close by..... I can pay $1500 (poss 1600). I know.. the dog.. the garden.. the budget... not easy :roll: But you never know....
There may be a landlord out there that loves animals and is looking for a reliable tenant.
I hope to hear from someone..

this may sound kind of nuts, but did you think of posting a "situation wanted: vet needs a home" flyer in the window of your clinic? y'know, i'll betcha there are clients out there who may know of a place or two. of course, you may run the risk of landing a weirdo type, but if you make it clear in the posting that you're not offering free vet care for the info, then the tip would more likely be on the up-and-up. plus, i think most clients would love the opp'y to help out their companion animals' doc!!
