Brooklyn Missed Connections

Brooklyn Missed Connections! Good idea I'll start us off with one now.....

It was on a Wednesday in late March 2007....I was walking down 7th Ave. in Park Slope heading towards Union, it was almost 5pm...I was walking pretty damn fast trying to get to the child I was watching before he got out of his afterschool class...I looked up and saw you from far , you were walking towards me talking on your cell....I look back down and kept walking for a few minutes...
Then I looked back up to make sure I don't bump into anyone because I saw more feet coming towards me, and I saw you were closer....still talking on your cell you then moved it away from your mouth looked right at me and said "hi" , still walking towards you I look back down and say "hi" , very low , I don't even think you heard me...I don't know if you stopped or what because I wasn't looking and I just kept walking....as I was walking away I was thinking , "Damn , he probably didn't hear me because I said it so low and I looked away after he said hi , he probably things I'm an arrogant bitch" .....I'm not trying to hook up or anything , I'm married....I was just wondering if you wanted to ask me something , since you stopped your phone conversation to say hi to a stranger , were you going to ask me something after the hi? Should I have kept eye contact after you said hi , to see what you wanted? I'm not an arrogant bitch , I'm just really shy and quite if I don't know someone.

Its strange how this went down that day , and I was just wondering whats up ? Was there Something on my face? :shock:

Anyhoo , I did say hi .....next time you see me on 7th Ave. say hi and then hold on a minute....if you want to ask something.....and if all you wanted to say was hi , than thank you for your kindness....If I saw you again on the street I wouldn't recognize you , I just remember you were a tall white male with a cellphone attached to your hand....but I am SURE you'll recognize me 8)
