Yea, Check out L&M Foreign Cars. They have an amazing reputation on citysearch and seem to be nearby

I had a 98 Jetta and always used Abba on 4th Ave. They always treated us right. Good prices, laid back, and seemingly honest.

Try the shop on Hicks and Sackett, Alfa Motors I think. Very reasonably priced and they work primarily on European cars. The shop on Hicks and Rapelye (the Gulf Station) is a great place to keep the car running - they will work with you to just keep it on the road if that's what you need. Alfa is east of the BQE, the Gulf is almost in Red Hook.

That first guy is right, I've been to L&M foreign cars. They do good work. and have a solid online reputation to back it up.
