Memories Out of the Box
(please note, I have no investment or affiliation with this store - just reporting)
so .. there's a new store between Soda and Delicacies on Vanderbilt and I popped in yesterday (while I was shopping my way down Vanderbilt - who knew I could spend that much money on one avenue?! and did y'all know Fabrica carries jewelry? oh yes. but I digress.) they do framing, photo book work, photo jewelry, etc. the owner, Martie, told my friend and I that she is offering to sell raw materials (frames, albums, etc), that she is going to offer classes in how to keep memories using frames, albums, etc, and that she is also offering the service (and I think a lot of us might take advantage of this one) of creating the photo albums and framing photos for us. pretty cool, I'd say.
so here are some pix of the place:

again, I have no affiliation (and have not been offered discounts or other wonders) - just think it's a cool new addition to the nabe.

Another good choice for the neighborhood. The nabe needs more than foods and booze. I hope she does well

it's been there for a long time but they got new signage. I've never been in but have heard that it's pretty pricey. -

Can you tell us more about the classes?
The store sounds great to me- I know I have a huge box of disorganized photos in my closet. Thanks for this great addition to the neighborhood!

Good luck Martie- I know I'm desperately in need of your services. And I hope everyone stops in to check out your lovely store.

Thanks Raul and everyone else! The mini classes that will run during the GO will be a sampling of some of my teachers' many talents: they can include bookmaking, digital photography, photoshop elements, scrapbooking, picture hanging system demo, photo organization tips! Will firm up a schedule soon

This is great to know about. I've got *piles* of family photos for a totally stalled photo album project and would love to check out your classes and supplies when the grand opening comes. Welcome to the neighborhood!
