Police presence in Bed Stuy

Trying to get some interesting conversation going...

When we originally had the idea of adding Bed Stuy to this board I brought up the conversation about what happened on Nostrand/ Fulton between the community and the police...

I was surprised that no one had anything to say on the topic. Espically since there were a few meetings held by the community...

does anyone have any updates??

And on that note, what do you think of the large police presence in Bed Stuy? For you ol' school folks... have you seen a positive change in crime since the large police presence? Sometimes I wonder if is best to have rookie cops patroling such high traffic areas??
