  • Not me. I need my beauty sleep. Carnivore?
  • Nope , not Carnivore.

I usually go to bed at about 3am or 4am.......and I wake up between 12pm-2pm. I don't have to sleep early because I have no reason to wake up so early in the morning...no kids , no job (starts next week) , husband doesn't have to be at work till 2 or 3pm.

When I do start that job...I will have to be up at 6am , so I'll be in bed by 11pm or 12am , I can't stand sleeping earlier than that.

My computer is always on , even if I'm not home....so I stop by it throughout my day, in and out...like right now i'm leaving , will stop back later to see whats up...ya know?

    Okay BigGuy?

I saw your post and went to bed, lol , at about 3am.
  • I was on a bit of a board hiatus, folks. have fun in athens, carny. I expect lots of meat-related stories.

    right, whyfi?
  • That is, meat-related stories unrelated to the movie 300.

    EM?
  • I wouldn't mind some 300 related stories. preferably if carny were to escort the meat to my door. but that's just me.

    right shish?
  • Nope, Shish is nowhere to be found :(

Did any of you go to that Botanical Garden thingy today?

I walked by and a bunch of people where standing around out there.

    Were you there BigGuy?
  • Nope, no blossoms for me. Working today & tomorrow. :((

    Mama?
  • no tengo menor idea donde esta Mamacita

a friend is going. i could go if i wanted to
but i feel it's going to be packed and that's no fun
plus i gotta work, no Whyf1?
  • Did you know fired US Attorney David Iglesias was the inspiration for A Few Good Men, Mama?
  • Nope , its 3:43am , most normal people are sleeping.

    Ain't that right Doctorj?
  • Well, EM probably asleep. MK is probably recovering from the 'ol Vitamin J, so I choose Alafair.

Hey Alfy, I hear we don't get out much and the boards are stale?
    http://brooklynian.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=34819
  • damn, I was out and about last night. hanging out at soda with various board folks. so I don't think we're stale. and the DJ set was all old school house and hip hop, so I think we weren't being dull, either.

to hell with them, right mamita?
  • you guys are STILL doing this? I call crazy on all of you!

psssht, any one of you will post next!
  • Wrong!!!!

    BG?
  • No way Jose , BigGuy is not unavailable at the moment.

How can she be wrong? She said, "anyone of you will post next."

    Right Drano?
  • Wrong!

And she was wrong because she didn't commit to a specific individual. NO CREDIT!!!

    The lovely Em26 next.
  • Correct! I am next.....now go over to the PH board and answer my damn question...please.

    Next is Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuum.....Shishkab?

Edit: Ooops Carni, you answered my question the same time I posted this. :)
  • hi there! back from chicago and glad to visit our fair thread once again! how've you been, em?
  • Welcome back!

I've been doing fine , thanks for asking Shishkab.

  • pitu, next!
  • HELLO!
    armchair next!
  • nope, he's too busy making out in public.

    alfia next.
  • Nope!

You know, I never thought I'd see the day when I'd spend more than 10 bucks on a meal for myself at White Castle... but I just did... I remember growing up and buying food for myself and 2 friends with a few bucks... man!

    Ya feel me, BG?
  • white castle can make a dent in your pocketbook, that's for sure.

    bigguy knows ...
  • No , BigGuy is out enjoying the sun.

When I was a kid , my dad would take my four siblings and I to the beach and then stop at White Castle afterwards , if we didn't BBQ.
Man , we'd be so happy and clapping our hands when we saw that he was about to pull up into the drive thru.

I don't remember how much it cost.I was like 7 years old , and money didn't mean anything to kids back then, and it didn't take much to make one happy.

Memories , those were the good ol' days.....everything is different now.

    Shishkab next?
  • mmmmmm, yeah! WC back in the day was awesome -- those belly bombers were kid-sized! my grandmother used to take me there (she loved the onions) and we had a great meal for very little money.

happy memories to be sure, Em!

what about you, MK? care to share your WC memories?
  • Here's one from years ago:

In the wee hours, after a gig in Queens--and a bout of industrial-sized drinking--my bandmates and I had the cab take us through the Sunset Park WC drive-thru on the way home. The attendant couldn't understand the driver's thick accent and after a third time of repeating the long order, one of my boys--one of the most mild-mannered, polite people you'll ever meet--woke from a deep, alcohol-induced sleep, cursing up a nasty storm and then repeating the order in perfect English. We laughed all the way home. I guess you had to be there...

    No WC for you, pitu?
  • my memories are recent. as in waking up from a 7 a.m. trip b/c of rubulad to a little bag sitting on my stove filled with cold cheeseburgers and chicken ring sandys. YUM!

    right, carny?
  • No , I think Carni is gone already...In Athens , LUCKY!!

    BigGuy , where you at?
  • yeah, I'm super jealous of carny. he's getting to see all the 300 hotness without the inclination. I'm weeping. seriously.

    right, bigguy?
