It's a cute idea, but not very practical or realistic. You're either going to have to be lightning-fast in dumping dye into your supersoaker the moment you see something going on outside, or you're going to have to keep a dye-filled supersoaker at the ready at all times, thus rendering it useless for your daily supersoaking needs.
That's why you need to have two!   -
This is the greatest post ever:

thanks, alafarnadia (and all who posted reasoned and/or humorous responses).
i had written a great snarky post about the neutron bomb i installed in front of my building to ensure a more assertive action than calling 911 when i witness criminal activity, going forward. (neutron, b/c i am invsted in preserving our p.h. architecture -- rattner threat notwithstanding). alas, i demure to a mere note of appreciation to circumvent possible misinterpretation. -

I commend your community spirit. An enhanced radiation device is the WMD of choice for a neighborhood with such historical value. Although you might want to also consider a small gold or tantalum salted bomb, which would expunge the natives while enabling gentrifiers to reoccupy in the time it takes to close on a property. -
hhmmm. if the r.e. market was better, i might consider alternative wmds. it seems to be taking much more time to close these days. i've seen beautiful property on my block languishing. then again, perhaps the true gentrifiers would be able to afford the apprporiate armor/antidote to wait out the negotiations. besides, i'm a late 'boomer. the neutron bomb was the sexiest back then
