  • okay. I will try to walk by sometime soon to figure out who the offender is.

    and whatever place I'm hearing - the music is somehow crossing 5th ave so I figure the joint has gotta be mega loud inside, which is no fun.

    so yeah, if I hear music from inside a restaurant outside, on the street, chances are I'm going to assume it's too loud for me to bear inside.

    best music selections in a restaurant by far: babbo and the rest of the motley batali crew. second best is probably beast.

    ha, nope. it's pretty firmly the place with all the open doors (as in more than the window seat that patio has). but next time I'm in that region I'll be sure to note the name of the actual joint and, if I can identify it, the name of the offending tune.
