CLOSED! Laundry mat on 7th Ave and 8th St

They said the Carriage House owns them and shut them down with 3 days notice. What a bummer!! It was kinda gross, but it got the job done. Now I have dirty laundry and not sure what to do with it.

    Wow... that place has been there forever. And to think I almost dropped off stuff, and left it for a few days. (Why I would assume any business was safe on 7th avenue is beyond me.)

    The Carriage House owns stuff? I figured they must own the building they're in as there is no way they bring in enough money to pay rent but I wasn't aware that they had a little empire. An empire still stuck in the 80's.

    interesting you say that - i agree. that place is weird and gross. my boyfriend plays on a pool league and that is the team's "home bar". i hate going there. sometimes the place is pretty crowded. and i hear they have busy karaoke saturdays. i also hear the owners are real assholes - but what do i know?

    i went there last week to do my laundry only to find it closed. That's part of my saturday routine. I HATE the places in PS, now I have to go to the old other crappy one I was avoiding. Why do all the laundromats here have to be so dirty with machines that are broken 50% of the time... oh well...
