u got pix?
-
She's kinda grubby right now - gotta give her a couple days to get comfy and clean up - maybe after her tentative vet visit. She's cute, though - grey and white, not quite tuxedo pattern, but not far off. Very loving, very laid-back. If she goes up for adoption, she's not going to be around long.
-
WhyFi is right about that, she won't be on the market long. I have met her and she is a great cat - extremely cute and affectionate.
-
Gave her a bath last night to jump-start the clean-up process - it wasn't a pleasant experience for either of us! She's still a little grungy, but gettin' better every day. She's going to the vet on Friday, I'll update on her health situation at that time.

kitty! She's sweet! Was that sink picture after the bath?
-
Yes, after the bath - she was really grubby before. It's just her stomach and legs that are still a little greasy - I don't know what kind of muck she was crawling through out there! -
She has such a cute pink nose. I want to keees it!

She looks like she might be from Percy's "family"! Percy is the boy kitty I took in after Christmas and found a home for.

These are the feral cats that I think Percy came from at some point.
She's a very lucky girl to have found you, I hope she finds a good home! -
Didn't mean to hijack the thread, it's just interesting to see how many strays look so similar. The ferals in the 2nd picture live on Pacific between Franklin and Bedford. Percy was found on Bergen between Franklin and Bedford. The grey and white cats almost look like clones of each other. And the black ones all have gold eyes and the exact same body and head shape. I've only seen a few strays around here that look different.

Yeah, there seem to be a only a few different strains out there, at least in this area. We have a male tuxedo that we rescued a few years ago, and a female b&w quasi-tux from a year ago, they certainly fit the mold, too...

Update on little Sylvia - she's back from the vet, she's neutered, but she is FIV positive. For those that don't know, it doesn't mean that she won't live a long and happy life, but it does mean that she should either be part of a single-cat home or be paired with another FIV positive cat.
As far as other animals are concerned, she doesn't seem to get too bent out of shape around them. We have to limit interaction with our cats, but she hasn't been aggressive or defensive when she catches glimpses of them on the other side of the door, ditto when the dog pokes her nose in the room.
On the whole, she's a very easy, low maintenance cat that'll shower you with affection (lap cat). She's a little cleaner every day, and she's getting to be incredibly soft. -
Awww , such a cutie

Its been a while , did you find someone to take her in yet? -
Don't know for sure... she went to a new foster, but I think that they're getting along pretty well, and it might turn in to a permanent home. We'll keep our fingers crossed.

Awesome

Fyi, this sweet little lady's been adopted by one of our fellow PHers. Sylvia's living large in a comfy apartment, not far from where she was found!
O:) Let's hear it for Mr & Mrs WhyFi! -
Yeah! Let's hear it for happy endings!!!
-
