hey all,

just a note to remind everyone to remember to monitor your surroundings no matter where you are in the city. I was walking home from the subway tonight, around 8:45, and a man was following me very closely. I sped up, and slowed down, and he kept pace with me. I finally popped into a bodega to get rid of him - he was freaking me out.

in any case, the reason I heard him behind me is that I was not listening to my ipod or talking on my cell phone while walking. not trying to be smarmy or holier than thou, just a reminder to everyone to stay safe and be aware of your surroundings.
