cat food recall: HILL's
Subject: cat food recall: HILL's
We just called our vet, Prospect Park Animal Clinic on Prospect Park West. after reading an article this morning in the NYT that said the cat food we buy from them was now added to the list of cat foods being recalled. We were told they were not going to notify patients/customers who buy this food, HILL's feline m/d DRY cat food, since there would be "too many people to call." Please pet owners, beware. Also, you are due a refund. Another question: Does anyone know why a veterinary office wouldn't want to make these calls to warn pet owners/patients of this recall, especially, since by their own admission, a lot of people buy this food?Comments

Nope. I don't know why they wouldn't give my cat a blood test when I had thrown away the cat food containers either. Do people really save all of their cat food containers after feeding their cats so that they can have the serial numbers handy?
