Lamp Repair

I have an old lamp that has some sentimental value. It seems the
wires have come loose and it won't light. Anyone know a lamp repair
person in the neighborhood?

  • Don't know of anyone, but they're not tough at all. You can probably pick up the hardware for a few bucks and replace it yourself, unless it's really hard to get at the nuts and bolts that hold everything in place...
  • Whyfi,

I took your advice to open it up and see what parts needed replacing. It turns out that the switch wasn't connecting, a totally easy fix. That lamp has been sitting in our living room for months not working... how silly. Thanks again, and next time I will take the do-it-yourself approach.
