Park Slope hatas?

Hi --
Hope you don't find this post to be out of line or an invasion of space. I'm writing an article for Time Out NY Kids exploring why people seem to hate Park Slope so much: smug, earnest, hippie/yuppie, stroller gridlock, cafes as daycare, etc. ... you know the drill. Wondering if anyone from non-brownstone Brooklyn would like to weigh in. If so, please PM me and we'll take it from there. Thank you!

It's all juvenile and pointless. If you don't like a place, don't live there. Let the people who do like it be.

I live in Northern BK, have for 5 years. This is where my family is from, there's something about this place I adore. Park Slope is lovely. I used to work there. It's different though, but different is good.

Brooklyn wouldn't be Brooklyn if all neighborhoods were the same.
