Boogers on the F-Train in New York City
These photos were taken at 2pm on a Saturday riding the F-Train. Is it not the grossest thing you’ve ever seen in your entire life? His boogers were over 2 inches long (I know because I measured them). He never moved or open his eyes the entire time we were on the train with him… until he reached for a napkin that was sitting on the floor (eyes still closed).

So here I am, enjoying my leisurely breakfast at work... RUINED!
You could have had the common decency to name the thread appropriately, so poor innocents like myself could... oh - nevermind.
Curiosity queased this cat! -

This is probably really insensitive, but you know how they've found people deceased who are riding the train? Do you think they clean the train afterward? And how thoroughly? For some reason, this has creeped me out, ever since I read those stories about dead people riding the train for 12 hours.

Oh that's so gross. Why did I click it? WHYYYY

Hey, it delivers what it promises!

I realized a couple of years ago that the first thing I always do after exiting the subway and arriving wherever I'm going is to wash my hands. This developed as an automatic reaction without any conscious thought. Also, I don't sit on my bed wearing the pants I wore sitting on the subway.
I don't think anyone who does the same is a hypochondriac at all. The worst grime I've ever seen outside of an industrial site has been on the subway, and the F line is not particularly clean even compared to other subways (best I've seen are the new 4-5-6 cars.) The M and R can get pretty nasty, too.
It's not just that people die on the subway: they bleed, puke, piss, shit, spill things, and I'm sure, occasionally ejaculate. The bungholes that seem to intentionally be spreading what must be some sort of slow-drying clear superglue that looks like water until you try to wipe it are my current faves. I don't think I'm paranoid because it's always on the exact center of the seat of one of the brown and yellow bucket-type seats on the older subway cars that have them (the alternate 3 and 2-seat at 90 degree angles) instead of the benches on the newer cars.
The sad thing is that it's still a lot better than it was back in the 1980s when I first started riding. -
OMG, what is this super glue thing you are talking about?? My boyfriend has a smear on the back of his coat that he got today and cannot get it off.
-
the smear, that is.

See if anyone else has seen it on the F or M/R lines where I have. It looks like the gel version of super glue, doesn't ever seem to entirely dry, and I've seen it at least half a dozen times in what looks like water spots. It's so strong your clothes will tear a little when you get up off it if you make the mistake of sitting on it. If you're taking the only empty seat on an otherwise packed car, look carefully.
My guess is this is how some teenage dipshit is getting his jollies :x
