RIP Wrappers Delight
I was sad to walk by Wrappers Delight on 5th Avenue today and see that they had closed up shop. They served great yogurt pretzels and countless other sweets. The store was family owned and operated. The young couple that ran it were always very nice. Their young child was often in the store sleeping in her stroller and one of their mom's helped out too. Anyone know what happened? When they first opened I doubted that they could make it work, but they did it for over two years. Hopefully they have landed with their feet on the ground.

It was a rent issue. They had their eye on a spot in Cortelyou, but they hadn't secured it at the time of closing. They said to check the website on their window to find out where they'd be reopening. -
Where on earth is Cortelyou?
