Hi Im looking at apartments to buy in Carroll Gardens area. Particularly at Court Street. How is the neighbourhood? From the maps, I see the railway tracks right there and also the highways. Also the W9th St station looks really scary. Maybe Im looking at some old photos on Google maps. Can someone please advice?

    the 9th street station does look scary. The whoel court street area is gentrified. You should have no problems. Best to live on a side street though.

    w 9th st station is crappy looking. other wise area is very safe. just make sure you dont live right next to high way or train. other wise area is great and don't live next to the streets that has the warehouses still.

    area is simply great if you dont like this area then NYC is probably not for you.
