Old Brooklyn Maps

I was wondering who had any maps of old Brooklyn. About 5 years ago I found some pictures of maps that went as far back as the Dutch. When it was called Breukelen. I also had pictures of Sheepshead Bay maps when it was all race tracks and Coney Island when it was all mansions. And! I had a Picture of a map that had all old farms in Gravesend. I cant remember where they are but I have to find them. They were great to look at. Im a huge map person(which sounds weird). I just love to look at maps. Esp. old maps of Brooklyn.

I found this old picture of the BMT trolley lines online to get us started!

  • You should check out the Brooklyn Historical Society

They should have some interesting maps and old photos/prints/illustrations in their collections. I know the N-Y Historical has old NYC maps, not Brooklyn though.
