I voted PH but Gowanus/Cobble Hill is where I grew up so it holds a very special place in my heart

Went for North Slope, someone has to.

Hmm, Prospect Heights is getting the most love! I live in North Slope but chose Carroll Gardens. No Slo would be a close second for me though, I think its great.

I voted PH. While I like cobble hill and north slope, they are way too crowded. I always get vague willies walking down the avenues in the slope.

You mean men expose themselves to you? -
Vague Willy: the unpublished, coming-of-age prequel to Free Willy.

just tried to wiki this but have not found adequate translation. gettin' the willies is very similar to being given the heebie-jeebies. I have a feeling these are all hillbilly terms, as I picked them all up from my mom's family.
vague willies = getting a bit wigged out.
why can't I explain this with non-colloquialisms? -

Willies was a common term throughout my Oklahoma upbringing. I never looked it up until today, having always just accepted it axiomatically. urbandictionary.com gives it as "a sense of dread or extreme discomfort", which pretty much matches my understanding of the term. Merriam Webster dates it from 1896, and marks it "origin unknown".
