How's PS 39 doing?

considered a good school nowadays, although sadly, everything seems to pale in comparison to the publics' perception of 321

I have a kid at PS 39; it's doing really well. The new principal in particular has been great. When did you go to PS 39?
Also, I agree with the above post--like 282, 154 and other area schools it gets overshadowed by 321's rep. (321 also has access to all that Prime Slope parents' money and the perks it can buy.) But that's fine; the flip side of that is that 39's a good size and the classrooms aren't crowded. (Not meant as a knock at 321, which I don't have firsthand experience of.) -
