Reliable and cheap movers?
I am about to move from crown heights to park slope. It's a one room with some furniture, so I think it will definitely take a truck and not a van. I'm tempted by the super cheap craigslist movers ads, but wanted some advice first. Has anyone had any experience with a service that they'd recommend?

I recently used Barry's Movers. I think you can find them on line. I can't find the guy's card. The move cost 300, before tip. I had not much furniture but about 40 or so boxes... I guess lots of furniture would be more pricey.
Someone had recommended flatrate movers to me but i found them very expensive... -
I could tell you who not to use. Flatrate. Terrible, they broke a table worth more than the move and managed to ding, scratch and scrape numerous items during the 10 min drive across Brooklyn.
