I am in need of some moving boxes and am collecting over the next few weeks. If anyone has any boxes they want to part with or some recommendation for a good place to look, please share. Thanks!

Find a neighbor who gets Freshdirect. We did almost our entire move a few years ago just with Freshdirect boxes!

it's wednesday 7:30 pm --- right now there are a bunch infront of cafe shane - they are folded up but appear to be clean --- get them before the rain does!

Just posted this in the PS forum to someone looking for boxes too.

"Liquor stores have a ton of boxes. I work at Shawn's on 7th ave and Mondays and Fridays we usually have alot of boxes since we get quite a few deliveries on those days. It's probably different for other liquor stores so a good thing to do is stop by and tell them you're moving. We don't mind saving boxes for people as long as they pick them up pretty quickly. We just don't have the space to store them. Also, people seem to want boxes that aren't broken down for some reason. But the ones that are already broken down are easier to carry, you can carry more, and you just take them home and tape up the bottom when you're ready to pack. That's what I did when I moved. I'll have a few boxes available after my stoop sale on Sunday -- come by 201 Eastern Parkway around 5pm and I'll be happy to give them to you.
