$100 for general admission? i'd love to see him in person, but that's $200 if hubby & i go, which is a little steep for 2 hours.

I think you can see Edwards for free at Cooper Union tonight . . .
Go Populists!
are they both in town for Pride or what? -
my hunch is that the "city that never sleeps" will probably be "energizing" Sen Obama, not vice versa - and the price is way too steep - Hammerstein + $100/head doesn't compute.
Here's what pitu was referring to re Edwards...
Tickets for The Cooper Union Dialogue Series featuring Senator John Edwards will be available on a first-come first-serve basis the day of the event, June 21, 2008, beginning at 4 p.m. in front of Cooper Union's Foundation Building: 7 E 7th Street, between 3rd and 4th Avenues. The free event, which will also include Mario M. Cuomo, New York governor; New York Public Radio's Brian Lehrer, of "The Brian Lehrer Show;" and host Cooper Union President George Campbell Jr., will begin at 6 p.m. in The Great Hall. -
Not to sound like a total hater, but what's with the actively courting the (pardon my ad speak) "urban independant" market? They just had a dance party the other week too going after the hip urban crowd. Not that I don't like to campaigned to a roundabout sort of way, but is the campaign even trying for folks not on a coast?
Howdy, Stranger!
