Couple ISO 1, 1.5 or 2 bdrm in various neighborhoods

My boyfriend and I are looking for an apt in Boerum Hill, Cobble Hill, Ft Greene, Park Slope, or Prospect Heights, either a
large 1, 1.5, or 2 bdrm. Our main priorities are that it be cat friendly,
well-maintained, and have a good kitchen with full-sized appliances (30-inch stove please!). Big pluses are dishwashers, w/d, gardens, etc., but none of those are necessities. We are also somewhat flexible about move-in dates. August 1, 15, or September 1 could all work, we'd even consider earlier if it is a no-fee apt. We would go up to $2400, possible more if it's a no-fee apt. We hope to be near express trains, especially A, B, or D, and would also be fine with 2, 3, or F.

We are very quiet, dependable neighbors who just want a comfortable,
nice place for ourselves and our kitty to call home. We appreciate
any help we can get!

PS. My dream is a brownstone floor-thru garden apt in any of those neighborhoods. Is this a pipe dream?

Mamacita & sweet tea, you guys are the best! Anytime you're in the vicinity of a certain place of business (must not be named!), please stop by. Friday & Saturday nights a bottle is usually being extensively researched and we can always use tasters!
