gun shots last night

Anyone know anything about the gun shots last night around the corner of Classon and Monroe? Heard them at about 12:30 AM and needless to say, it scared the hell out of me...

Could it have been fireworks? We've been getting a bunch of those in the last few weeks in Crown Heights.

i wish i could say it was, but i looked out my window right after i heard it and saw some guy running up classon, then a bunch of cop cars pulled up to a building on Monroe. Def gun shots.

i also heard the shots. counted 6. definitely alarming. thought i heard a police say that they hadn't found a shooter and they hadn't found anybody shot.

I was awakened by the shots, and then i watched the scene out my window for a quite a while afterwards. several police cars made their way to the intersection of classon & monroe, but none had their sirens or lights on and their was no sense of hurry from any of them. about 3 or 4 cars left the scene and 2 stayed longer. 2 cops went into 2 different apartments and that's when i stopped watching. it was strange. there was no sense of urgency or danger from the police at all, which i guess was somewhat comforting.

I've heard shots a few times lately (I live on Lafayette at Bedford.) They seem sort of far away but are def gunshots, not fireworks. Usually during the day too. Its weird...

Two of my roomates saw a guy on a bike get shot on Nostrand and Gates Monday or Tuesday night this week. Not sure how he's doing, they joined the crowd in running away during the round of shots. Has anyone heard anything?
