Wedding march fun

Hi all --

I received an unexpected gift today in my e-mail...a video of the march up Eastern Parkway that my husband and I had as part of our wedding day in early May.

I've lived in the neighborhood for over 10 years now. It was really important to the both of us that we show our family (mine from the Midwest; his from the UK/Australia/South Africa -- almost all suburban) why we love Prospect Heights so much. And so, we were married at Union Temple, then walked up Eastern Parkway to our reception at the Botanic Garden.

Anyway, it was a gorgeous day and, in a way, I suppose the march was our love letter to PH and Brooklyn. Enjoy!

Thanks, everyone. The best part was that we had no idea anyone filmed the march, so this really was a surprise when it showed up yesterday.

Now THAT is a proper procession...

It looks like you had a blast, which is how it should be at one's wedding (it gives the right kick in the pants for a great beginning to any marriage).
