Trouble with the cable (modem)?

Our cable has been acting up lately. The picture is fuzzy on a number of channels (NY1, 13, a few that Mom watches) and has a little extra sepia in the tone. We have Road Runner, too, which didn't work for most of last weekend and part of the weekend just ended. Anyone else been having similar trouble with Time Warner recently?

No problems with mine. I think it's time for you to call TW for a little diagnostic visit. There may be something with the wiring from the pole to your apartment. No one will know unless a trained tech visits.

My internet (TW cable) craps out every day at least once. Really annoying!

me too. no internet almost always during the day, perhaps when tw thinks that nobody is home?

i work from home all day every day and if it goes out for 1 minute once a month it's a bad month.

Hmmm... I wonder if there are good parts of the neighborhood and bad parts of the neighborhood for TW service... :-k

Well, make sure that all of your connections are tight. That can cause the problems that you are describing. I think Time Warner charges.

The last few days I've had periods where my cable internet goes out for a couple of minutes at a time, then works fine. Seems to be fine today, though (knock on wood).
