THINKING ABOUT MOVING TO BROOKLYN
Comments

We live in PLG and like it. I don't know Queens so I couldn't compare. But the commute is way better from here than it was for us in Park Slope.

where in queens were you living before? (near what train lines?)

This is in Crown Heights. The area is fine if you are used to urban living. We have lived three blocks south/east of where you are moving for a year and a half and really like the neighborhood. But any yuppy amenities you are looking for are slowly trickling in. You are very near Prospect Heights, which has more sit-down restaurants, bars and upscale coffee shops.
That said, there are plenty of grocery stores, laundromats and delis in the area.
The commute is very easy. You are a block from Franklin Ave, which has the 2,3 and 4,5 lines.
