Hakeem Jeffries at the Eastern Pkwy/Bklyn museum train stop. — Brooklynian

Hakeem Jeffries at the Eastern Pkwy/Bklyn museum train stop.

Hi all,

Just in case anyone wanted to speak to our Assemblyman. He will be at the above mentioned train stop this evening from 5:30-7:30.

  • Crap. Wish I'd known about this earlier.
  • This again...I posted on the PH version (didn't know there were 2 postings). He will be at the Franklin station tonight from 5-7pm. Also you can contact the district office @ (718)596-0100. He's hitting a variety of subway locations on Tues/Wed evening this summer.
  • I dont beleive Mr. Jeffries represents you the Crown Heights Assembly District. I beleive your assembly representative is the person who replaced Clarence Norman.

Nope, Hakeem Jeffries does serve Crown Heights. I live in his district and get his newsletters.

Here are the best maps I could find of the 57th Assembly district. Wish someone would do a Google Maps mashup -- this doesn't show the street names, but you can at least clearly see that he serves a good chunk of Crown Heights; the eastern border of his district is Nostrand.

  • BTW, I just called Assemblymember Jeffries's office (thanks for the number, buffalo) to get a copy of the schedule for these appearances. They're supposed to be faxing me a copy; I'll post it here when I receive it.

If you take a look at the map you provided of the 57th AD you will see that although you personally may live in an area of Crown Heights served by Hakeem, a large portion of Crown Heights beyond Nostrand Ave, (ex. New York, Brooklyn, Kingston etc. is not in Hakeem's District. I used to live on Brooklyn Avenue between Dean and Bergen, and I know that is not in the 57th A.D . As previosuly stated that area of Crown Heights is served by Mr. Camara.
