8th Street Closed?
Does anyone know why 8th st between 7th and 8th has been closed for the last 2 days? I saw DEP and police cars there tonight when walking home.

There's a huge crater/pot hole about 3/4 of the up the block between 7th and 8th Aves on 8th Street.
As I was walking up the block this afternoon, I heard a mother saying to her young son: "die Strasse ist Kaput!"
Typisch Park Slope!
