Reccommend Good Local Car Service, Anybody?

International advertises here a lot, but they actually are not local, they are horrible, and they do not know the area. Is there a good, local, option?

    International Car Service is hands-down the most unreliable car service in all of Brooklyn. They have no idea what the term "customer service" means. Their dispatchers are nasty and agressive. I really don't understand why they are still in business. Save yourself a lot of hassle and frustration and call another car service instead.

    Aracibo and Eastern usually work for me. Aracibo have nicer cars but cost a little more. Both are generally quite prompt (five to ten minutes after calling) and the drivers know Brooklyn well.

    Eastern I can recommend... I just did not know that they serviced Red Hook. Their base is on Church Avenue in Flatbush, isn't it? (For that matter Church Avenue Car Service, across the street from them is at least as good...) But I was looking for a car service local to Red Hook...

    I normally use Arecibo.

    I was just talking with an Arecibo driver the other night. He claims that they are by far the biggest company in the area, with 300 cars or so. And that Eastern is number two with 150 or so. Just a few fun facts, if they are indeed facts.

    For the original OP Arecibo is good.
