Moving things larger than a breadbox.

Anyone know a good car service to call that can help me move some light furniture, ie: some stand along elfa shelving from one apartment to another in Prospect Heights several blocks?

Heh, sorry for getting carried away. I seem to have momentarily channeled Don Pardo.

Must've been something in my curry.

But I digress. Back to the question and link above, longtime Brooklynian.com regular Armchair_Warrior has an absolutely excellent man-with-a-van service.

I have used it twice already, and am looking to again tomorrow as a matter of fact. (Armchair...I just PM'd ya...call me!)

/me makes telephone signal with hand

    Good luck...

  • Sounds great, but it's about a five minute car ride and very light drawers - I'm not sure if I can justify $35, but will keep it in mind.
  • any car service will do it, as long as the items fit in the trunk and/or backseat. just did it over the weekend with a small chest of drawers with Myrtle car service.
