Crown Sky Cafe

I saw a new sign up for "Crown Sky Cafe" on Nostrand btwn Bergen and St. Marks.

A quick google search yielded this website: http://lbkted.com which makes mention of a storefront opening soon although there is no address listed. I'm guessing it's the same place.

Looks like they do catering now but will have a restaurant opening. Anyone have any info on them?

Crown Sky Cafe is open for breakfast and lunch 7-1. They have eggs, pancakes, french toast, bagels, donuts, muffins, coffee, icees, etc. check it out. and support neighborhood businesses.

We walked by there on Sunday afternoon and looked at the little give-away menus they had out. A very nice woman opened the door and said that they don't have lunch 7 days yet (which is why they weren't open) but she could offer us something cold to drink. She was very sweet and I look forward to stopping by soon for a snack.

I got one of the menus but I don't have it with me. I can try to scan it tomorrow. Like iron maiden said: eggs, pancakes, french toast... They also have fries, roti, that sort of thing. PB&J on the kid's menu section... Regular (not expensive) prices.

The woman we spoke to (did I mention that she was very nice?) said that they hoped to have delivery service soon, but do not yet.

A friend of mine told me to check out the new cafe by Bergen & Nostrand Ave. They are very nice and their food is Great and priced pretty well, it's very clean there too... a big improvement for the neighborhood. They serve Caribbean and American food. The menu: Pancakes, Coffee, Cakes, Jerk Chicken, Roti, Fresh squeezed juice (Carrot, beetroot, Orange, etc). They Cater, Host Events and also make "Adult Cakes." They also have a Fund set up for the needy in the community. They Guy I spoke to said they will have delivery soon. Open 7 says M-Th 8a-8pm, F 8a-9pm, Sat. 9a -9pm & Sun Breakfast Only 9:30a - 2:30pm... Check it out it's my new Spot!
