anyone thinking of heading to this? I have my (grasping at not-straws but you know ... memories) love for the fugees and lauryn's unfortunately extremely religiously silly yet very well produced and musically intact first album to blame for my desire to go to the concert. I'd love to go with others.

The concert SUCKED.. .it started an hour late.. and "MS" Lauryn arrived 2 hours late..
-
nice. glad I stayed home to watch the closer instead ... sigh.

By the time I reached the park, they had shut it down. How long did Lauryn perform?

Subject: Lauren Hill's show
how was her performance? I wanted to go, but was pretty tired--and I knew, given her track record, that she'd be extremely late if she showed at all. I also know that she still draws a huge crowd, so that and the fact that it threatened to rain, came me away. -
Yeah, the concert was very sad. I left during the 4th song. She looked crazy and was acting crazy. I'm praying for her to get well.
-
Sounds like I didn't miss much. Were there any problems in the park with the large crowds?
-
Hundreds of people couldn't get in. The police did an excellent job controlling the crowd. There weren't and problems as far as the crowd goes. I think this story captures what happened pretty well. I didn't see the end of the concert but the beginning was crazy. It doesn't mention she didn't get on stage until 10pm.

The concert wawss boring at first because she was doing her new stuff that nobody likes but her last 4 songs WERE GREAT AND SHE KILLED THE CROWD AND HAD THE PARK JUMPING! She ended the concert with "that thing" and was a proformance for the ages! You missed this than you missed it alll. All the REAL lauyn hill fans stayed and they were rewarded!
Howdy, Stranger!
