  • oh so COOL! I love the ToD/GoD art shows! congrats, quig (who many of you know from various happy hours, including his staying power for the CH bar crawl!)
  • That's an ape, NOT a monkey...
  • I hate every ape I see,
    from chimpan-A to chimpan-Z...

This sounds totally cool and I'm down to go! Is it a wine and cheese affair? Not that it needs to be, I just like free food and booze. But more than that, I love art!
  • I wish someone would actually make that Planet of the Apes musical. It would be hilarious! So sad though that Phil Hartman wouldn't be able to star. :(

    Listen here!
  • Congratulations! I try to make it!! =D> :D/ :D
  • Is the opening invite only? I want to go!
  • let's all change our avatar's to stolen art .jpgs to celebrate the opening
quig, can we steal your art?
  • Steal away mateees! ARRR.
  • All are invited..
  • Subject: Sci Fi Musicals.

Just FYI, I'm designing lighting for The Last Starfighter the Musical at the New York Musical Theater Festival in September. www.NYMF.org tell your friends. :)

    please tell me you're kidding.

and if you're not kidding, why is it not tron the musical?
  • I LOVE you Carnivore for the Phil Hartman link! As it happens, I just received my order for the Simpsons 7th Season DVD and watched that very episode last night. Actually, if you're paying attention to what's happening on Broadway these days, a Planet of the Apes musical doesn't seem that far fetched of an idea. Nor does Tron for that matter. I mean, they did put Xanadu on the stage - and it's actually supposed to be good.

That being said, I love the ape smoking a cigar painting. If I were rich, I'd buy it.
  • Congratulations! Looking forward to seeing the work.
  • the fiesta yesterday was GREAT. and I bought art! (well, I still have to pay for it ...)

    good show, quig!
  • excellent work
    congratulations quig
  • Thanks, alafairnadia, neene and the Brooklynians.
  • Ah, sorry we missed it, quig, we were out of town. We'll have to head over and check out the new work.
