Pool on a Barge?!?

Yes, have been. It's basically a huge parking lot with with 2 huge sand filled tarps including a volley ball net. have not been in the pool as on the weekends, there is a line longer than the promenade itself to get into. they let people in the pool in intervals of one hour each. Sitting in the sand is sort of beachy, minus the ocean breeze and you're staring at the NYC skyline.
