Local Restaurants w/ Live Music — Brooklynian

Local Restaurants w/ Live Music

Besides Le Toukouleur, Night of the Cookers, and Red Bamboo on certain days, which other FG/CH restaurants have live music, and on which days? Thanks.

  • Olea sometimes has music. So does Chez Oskar... I was at Chez Oskar last Monday and they had a jazz band. Don't know which days at Olea but I've definitely been there a couple times when there was music.

Thanks. Haha, thats the problem I've been having - knowing which days. It would be cool if they put this info on their websites. I dont eat out a lot, so when I do it would be cool if I could hear some live music.
  • Folukie on Bedford between Putnam and Madison has live music, and the food is good!

  • Thanks all. It looks like my lazy butt will have to pick a certain day of the week and visit a few spots to see what days they have live music. The precise schedules dont seem published anywhere, or updated often.

Le Grand Dakar on Grand Ave tween Lafayette and Clifton. Also a new jazz spot opened on Putnam tween Grand Ave and Cambridge.Dont forget Fivespot on Myrtle and Washington,Dean St Cafe on Dean and Underhill.
And Guvna, wouldnt it be simpler to get the tel numbers online and call these establishments and find out when they offer live music?

Yep. I will do that instead. My initial hope was that people would post that they go every Friday (or whenever) to "such-such" restaurant because they have live jazz or whatever. That wouldve been simplest, but it looks like most people eat out as infrequently as I do :o
  • This Monday at le Toukouleur, Friday at Folukie and Friday at Solomon's Porch.
  • gourmand, what about the jazz spot????
