Naidre's and dogs

Actually, I don't mind rogeroger agitating for more quality. What's wrong with that?
-
Wanting more quality is fine. I doubt anyone is on the verge of convincing the masses to stop listening to Britney Spears or patronize local businesses over mass produced crap anytime soon though. Unfortunately. One can hope, though. At least we don't have Walmart.
-
Mattel is poisoning our children. China is poisoning your dogs. What happens when everything is mass produced? Do we know where are products are coming from? Do we know how they are made? What happens when all of our options are only fast food, cheap toys, anti-freeze spiked shiraz. If the population continues to choose these things places like our Food Coop could disapear. DSW and Target and Walgreens are the same as Wal-Mart. We have a lot of them! People want them. A big sports arena is coming, no one wants it, but here it comes. TGI Fridays along with it.

you lost me
so what does this have to do with a local snack shop named naidre's and someone's dog compalining about the service? -
I just went to Naidre's this morning -- this thread got me craving a breakfast sandwich. The two behind the counter were helpful and courteous, the sandwich came quick and was delicious. Even a stroller was inside!
PS I don't think the good speedy service had anything to do with my stating I was Frank Bruni. -

this is thread piracy (ARRR! :pirat: ) but...
the food coop will do better, i bet, the "worse" mainstream grocery stores are. if c-town carried a good selection of organic food at fair prices, why would anyone join the coop?

Gotta love the people that register simply to post a complaint, then disappear never to be heard from again.
I will admit that the service at Naidre's could sometimes be slow, though the staff were pretty uniformly nice to me. I still miss the place like crazy. I used to be a very regular customer when I lived 2 blocks away from their 7th Avenue location, but don't get there very often now that I live in Prospect Heights. Sniffle! -
I appreciate your response Janice. I would have loved to discuss this with you however, I got the smoothies to go and they were placed in a paper bag so I only first took them out and tried them in my house. I was also very insulted in your establishment so the thought of staying there any longer to "work this out" with your staff or anyone else was not my first priority. I've worked many years in the customer service field and understand that people can be in bad moods or irritable however, you still manage to put your game face on and please your customers. I should not have to listen to people make comments and role their eyes and walk around the counter to close the door on my dog. There were also no gourmet dog biscuits around or offered to me. If you want to be known as a dog friendly environment, I would consider training your staff to comply.

My cat would like you to know that dogs do not rule -- they sniff each others' butts, yap, and trip people with their leases. -

did we just solve the Great Park Slope Landlord Conspiracy? are cats to blame for the rising prices of brooklyn rents? -

Cats can be blamed for a lot of things. After all, they just lay at home all day, thinking of new and painful ways to screw the (hu)Man.
