Delis on 4th Avenue

Just recently the deli on 4th and Bergen closed down.
Does anyone know what's going in there?

And why are the delis on 4th Avenue close to Atlantic "just ok"?
If I need something late at night I'd much rather go to Pathmark than pop into a deli on 4th. And believe me, I :puker: Pathmark!!!

  • what a charming new emoticon....

did the mexican deli on 4th close? I don't remember the location exactly. They always had cocacola from Mexico, the kind with cane sugar instead of corn syrup.

It might be worth walking up to the good deli at 5th Ave and Sackett. Pathmark smells weird.
  • Yes, that's the one (I think). At the corner, by the bus stop.

And yes, I go to the 5th Avenue delis also, but not when I remember having to buy emergency beer...:^o I mean dishwater detergent late at night ... I'm too lazy to walk further than I need to.

Ah ha! I knew that Coke tasted better!
  • There's still a good deli on 4th @ St. Mark's, but they close at 10. I saw a sign posted on the Bergen St. deli site that said something about a bagel store... they're doing some extensive renovations in there, something they have not done when it changed hands before...
