did the mexican deli on 4th close? I don't remember the location exactly. They always had cocacola from Mexico, the kind with cane sugar instead of corn syrup.
It might be worth walking up to the good deli at 5th Ave and Sackett. Pathmark smells weird. -
Yes, that's the one (I think). At the corner, by the bus stop.
And yes, I go to the 5th Avenue delis also, but not when I remember having to buy emergency beer...:^o I mean dishwater detergent late at night ... I'm too lazy to walk further than I need to. -

There's still a good deli on 4th @ St. Mark's, but they close at 10. I saw a sign posted on the Bergen St. deli site that said something about a bagel store... they're doing some extensive renovations in there, something they have not done when it changed hands before...
