i didn't hear those, but now that you mention it, two very loud bangs woke me up late last night -- they didn't really sound like gunshots, but i suppose they could have been very deep-sounding fireworks.
(i'm on prospect btwn classon and franklin) -
i had my windows open onto that block and didn't hear anything

I heard it, and it was gun shots. It happened at 9:30 and at 11:20 or so.
When it happened at 9:30 I looked out the window to see a youngish man running across the street, and heard people yelling. There were like 3-4 loud pops.
At around 11:20, I heard more (6-8) pops and looked out the window. I saw two youngish men run at full speed across the street right by the Shuttle tracks, POSSIBLY throw something over the fence, then run back across and get into a black car. The car then made a very very fast U-turn and sped in the direction of Claussen, driving down the SIDEWALK the whole way. -
man, i must've had the tv/fan on too loud. or it was further toward franklin. that's crazy.

I saw people running, and swore someone was climbing a fence near the shuttle... perhaps they were throwing something. Not sure if cops came, or if they were even called.

The cops didn't show up the first time at 9:30 but they came the second time. It was closer to Franklin Ave, I heard the second set of shots really clearly.

I heard the "pops" Wasn't sure what it was, or where. I looked out a few moments later and saw the car driving down the side walk. Mind you, there was NO traffic on the street, so talk about attracting attention to yourself.

hopefully there were no pedestrians on the sidewalk either
-
No didn't see any pedestrians on the sidewalk.. and for the record they weren't really SPEEDING down the sidewalk.... They were more driving like this was a perfectly normal thing to do. Then again.. maybe it is perfectly normal to them?
