Jimmy Justice: Asshat or hero?

Judging from this video, he is a total dick. Also, his brief against the cops is totally specious. This is the downside of so-called "citizen journalism." Imbeciles like this carrying cameras think they're Edward R. Murrow. I hope one of the cops blows his fucking head off.

Well, I give my good customer relations awards to both women traffic agents. Their restraint in the face of what is nothingless than assault is commendable. Jimmy is a jerk-off and his "gold tooth" comment was as asshattish as it gets. Too bad traffic control agents are unarmed - I would have been tempted to shot his camera.

Apparently he is on his third camera in his campaign to make public servants look for parking.Well, I give my good customer relations awards to both women traffic agents. Their restraint in the face of what is nothingless than assault is commendable.
He has a bunch more videos on YouTube where people deteriorate to his level of discourse. I've decided this guy is indeed an asshat, but I admire his anger. I'm down with the filming and calling 311
but he should treat people with more respect. Well, at least he's angry. With all the ridiculous abuses of power in our government it is good to see someone pissed off and doing something about it. -
He just might be one of those Asshat Heros, but don't you think he either sounds like Cheech Marin or Tommy Chong?
-
Does he ever go after men or just minority women?
Cautious heroism with a slight taste of ass-hattery.... -
this guy is terrible. but i do have a complaint somewhat related to his.
the police in this neighborhood constantly roll through red lights when it's patently obvious that they're not in a rush to go anywhere. i regularly see them pull up to a red, flash the lights and turn on the siren, roll through, amble up to the next red, and pull the same thing all over again. all the while, the two cops inside the car are casually chatting with one another.
it's unsafe, and on more than one occassion ive thought for sure that it was going to cause an accident.
it's quite un -
asshat for sure. what he's discussing is a valid point for sure, but his message is lost when he makes himself such a loud part of the story. this is why we need to support our newspapers and other publications that still operate under the fundamentals of journalism (or at least do it better than some dope with a video camera, a high speed internet connection and a strong desire for celebrity)

Mookie, forget the lights and siren. I see them roll through red lights all the time without them. One night I was walking my dogs, had the right of way and was about to cross Dean Street at Franklin Ave. I had to stop short and pull the dogs back because a cop car rolled through the red light. the driver actually gave me a wave like you do when someone lets you go in front of them!
-
He's not a hero, but his underlying point is totally valid. And the retired cop in the video is definitely an asshat.
-
Asshat. i agree with him *in theory*. Unfortunately, aside from him being a loudmouthed jackass who is not bait his subjects, he also gets his facts wrong, calling traffic agents "cops" and in some of his videos criticizing the agents for parking or standing in areas where it is legal for a city vehicle.
-
OK - I know I am setting myself up here, but what is an asshat?
An ass you wear on your head? -
One up your asshat, he's a straight up douchebag. And this is coming from someone who thinks meter maids are protoplasm on the evolutionary scale.
*cue hyper-nasal voice* - "I'm Jimmy Justice, and you're BUS-TEEEEEEEEEEEED!!!"
