Found cat on 14th Street
I found a really cute, sweet and fun 1 year old female cat yesterday
stuck in a drainpipe at the Park Slope Armory (14th Street between 7th & 8th). She is brown & orange and has a big fluffy tail. I'm hoping to find her owner so please contact me if you think she's yours!
Thanks,
Statia

Thank god you rescued her!
If you can please post a pic and check out the Pets section on the main index, there is a lot of helpful advice on the sticky on that page.
Good luck on finding her owners. -
i wonder if its the cat that disappeared from the deli on 15th street and 8th avenue - it was an adorable around 1 year old also - i went in there months ago to see it and they said she was gone - they have another kitten now

Thank you everyone that replied! I've attached 2 photos and will post in the pets section as well. I started hanging flyers today and tomorrow I'll bring one to that deli to see if it's the same cat.

Subject: Found female cat on 14th St in Park Slope
On Friday I found a cat stuck in a drainpipe at the Park Slope Armory on 14th Street between 7th & 8th Avenues. It took myself and 3 guys working at the Armory over an hour to get her out, but we managed to do it! So now I'm hoping to find her owner. It's a female cat approximately 1 year old. She's a brown/tabby cat with a big fluffy tail. She's really sweet and friendly as well. I've posted photos below so please contact me if you think she's yours.
Thanks!

Lookit that tail! What a cutie.
Thank you for rescuing the kitty. -
its not the same one from the 15th st deli - what a sweet looking kittie - and very sweet of you to help her
-
I'm going to continue to look for her owner for a few more days, but if he/she can't be found does anyone want to adopt her? I already have my hands full with 2 cats and a baby!
-
ok, you HAVE to adopt that kitty! look at its silly tail? (i'd take her if i could. i can't, or i would...) what a silly kitty!
-
I have found a new home for the kitty. They are long time patients of my vet and they're 18 year old cat died in May and they just happened to stop at my vet's to look for flyers of kitties looking for new homes. It's good to know that she'll be taken care of (but it was VERY sad to see her go!)

Yay!

That is really nice news.. I hope this Kitty has found a forever home and lives a long, healthy, loving life.
