going postal?

can anyone tell me where the local post offices are? i'm 23rd street and haven't seen any while driving or wandering around. thanks!

PPW and the teens is Van Brunt Station (TERRIBLE!) and then there's the large PO on 9th St. between 4th/5th Ave, also bad. Lines out the door and wacko employees.

Talk about going postal!

We resort to UPS or Fed-Ex for most shipping.

yea i usually just grit my teeth and dive into the on one 9th. It's horrendous. I've shown up 20 minutes before it opened, already a line forming outside. Nobody started helping customers for 15 minutes after they opened. I was late for work because of it. I think the shortest amount of time I've ever spent there was about a half hour.

I've used the one on 3rd Avenue & 34th Street. There is never a line there...

This is why when we HAVE TO (if all else fails) mail stuff, we take it to the post office on 23rd St in Manhattan (funny enough) and 8th Ave on the way to Dr's appts.
